Have you ever watched TV or YouTube and been bombarded by the same commercial over and over until you are so annoyed you swear you would never consider purchasing this product?  The same thing will happen on social media if you overwhelm your readers, so it is imperative for your business to follow a healthy social media diet.  At Social Media Delivered, we adhere to our proven Social Media Equation™ to ensure the proper balance of communication scheduled with the following frequency.  See what a Balanced Daily Diet of Social Media looks like:

FACEBOOK:   3+ SQUARE MEALS A DAY

3-5 times a day.  Humanize your organization.  Share industry news, community photos - not just your services and products. This is the meat and potatoes of your social media daily diet and is the heart and face of your company.

TWITTER:  BITE-SIZE SNACKS

7-10 times a day.  Including many interactions with your audience and industry news, keep these light and tasty to keep your audience coming back for more nibbles.

LINKEDIN:  BIG AND BEEFY

1 per work day.  These target a more affluent, intellectual professional, so the content needs to be as well.  Make these posts longer and meatier.  One should fill their appetite for the day and leave them satisfied with something to ponder.

GOOGLE+:  ONE-A-DAY MULTI-VITAMIN

1 per work day.  Blending social and business, Google+ works best with an effective post to balance the daily diet of social media.  Like a hearty vitamin, Google+ targets social and business audiences and offers multi-benefits that are really good for us.

YOUTUBE:  MONTHLY BUFFET

Videos 1 per month at a minimum.  Depending on your production budget, you can and should offer more.  Once a week would even be ideal!  So like a buffet, you can load up and be really full or you can go back for more.

BLOG: SUNDAY BRUNCH

Once weekly. Everyone loves Sunday Brunch - a blog is no different.  It is special and meaningful since it is informative or entertaining. Consistency is key, so keep the tradition alive with delicious, entertaining and informative blogs.

PINTEREST:  SIX PACK OF BEER

6 pins per weekday.  These are plentiful and fun, but they should also be filling and entertaining.  Like a good beer should be, keep your Pinterest posts flowing and cool!

INSTAGRAM:   SWEET TREAT

1 post per weekday.  People love visuals, so you want to treat them to a delicious, well composed image and leave your followers wishing and wanting for more.  Engage customers with great pictures and you will win their business.
