Today’s Guest on ‘Social Media for the CEO’ is… Cary Bohn from Relay for Life

Welcome to Friday!  We're near the weekend but not quite yet, your coffee is made, the emails are checked and right about now we hope that you're checking your calendar to make sure that you've cleared a window so that you can catch our weekly show 'Social Media for the CEO' this morning at 10a CT.  This week's show is an extra special celebration because Cary Bohn, Executive Chairman at Relay For Life - Wise County will be speaking with our hosts Mary and Eve to discuss how social media networks can be leveraged to not only raise awareness about philanthropy, but also why  it's a efficient way to collect resources, donations and volunteers.  When it comes to supporting the fight against cancer through social media, one might say our guest and hosts certainly know how to talk the talk and walk the walk.  If you're based in the non profit sector join us live with your questions... Cary's Bio At the age of 10, Cary watched his father fight lung and brain cancer. The images left a footprint on his soul that would later help drive his passion for finding a cure for cancer. Today, Cary serves as the Chairman of the Wise County Relay for Life. He started “relaying” because of his dad, and continues to “relay” for his wife and children. The network of Relay For Life events serve as the American Cancer Society’s largest source of funds and is the world’s largest fundraiser.

Cary is also the agent/owner of the Cary Bohn State Farm Agency in his home town of Decatur, Texas. He has his BBA in Insurance and Finance and is a Chartered Life Underwriter and Chartered Financial Consultant.
