Starbucks' Clever Use of Real-time Marketing

While some brands carefully planned social campaigns to celebrate Valentine’s Day, the clear winner of the day was Starbucks with this great response to Taylor Swift’s off-hand Valentine’s Day joke.

It’s a prime example of the power of real-time marketing. The photo of Starbuck’s response to T. Swift started making the rounds on social media and shot up to nearly 4,000 retweets in 48 hours.
