You have probably heard of daily hashtags such as #ThrowbackThursday or #FollowFriday, but did you know that using daily hashtags is a great way to mix up your creative social media content to interact with your audience? Using #ThrowbackThursday along with other popular hashtags can help make updating your company social media pages easy! Here are some weekly hashtag ideas that would be great for businesses.
#MondayFunday: This hashtag is a great way for businesses to begin the week. It can be used on a wide variety of posts from a photo of a happy customer using your product, showing the fun side of your business, or just entertaining tweets to engage your audience.
#MotivationMonday: Motivational or inspiring quotes are extremely popular across social networks. This is a good way to share something that goes along with your company values, but it doesn't always have to relate to your business.
#TravelTuesday: Traveling may not be related to your business, but it's definitely a good way to get interaction going between you and your audience. Asking your audience where they like to vacation, or sharing photos is a great way to get them involved.
#TransformationTuesday: This hashtag can be used in two different ways. If your company's product helped "transform" a part of your customers life, then that would be the perfect post to share. You could also post a before and after picture of your business to show how it's changed in the past years.
#TipTuesday: You're the expert in your business. Use your knowledge to educate your audience about valuable information they may not know or be aware of. This could be anything from beauty tips, to mortgage tips, or even travel tips, etc.
#WednesdayWisdom: This is similar to #MotivationMonday, but is more about wisdom rather than being inspirational. These posts can be quotes or just wise words. This hashtag is also good for reflecting your company's values.
#ThrowbackThursday: As stated before, this is probably one of the most familiar hashtags. Normally, users post or tweet pictures of themselves to reminisce about past events. Businesses can use this hashtag a little differently by giving insight on your company's past. This could be sharing photos of company events to illustrate the culture or values. By giving your audience this insight it will help them to recognize the type of business you have.
#FollowFriday: This is also another popular hashtag that has been around since the beginning of Twitter. It allows you to give your followers a shoutout thanking them for following, while also informing your audience to follow new people.
#SocialSaturday: This is a great way to interact with your audience about their day and how they're spending it. Most of these posts are questions about people's day or questions that will begin conversations about a certain subject of your industry. Is it exactly how it sounds, a hashtag to be used just to be social.
#SelfieSunday: You can have fun with this hashtag! Either use selfies or pictures taken of you with your team or product. This will show the personality of your brand and make you more relatable to you audience.
Don't overthink using hashtags! They're meant to be a fun method to connect with your audience and to be more entertaining with your social media. By using one each day, or mixing up daily hashtag usage each week, you can use different angles to interact with your audience.
