Franky Saegerman - Head Digital Insights, NATO
Franky Saegerman provides strategic assessment, analysis and advice regarding the performance and impact of NATO’s Digital communications channels and products.
Franky started working at NATO’s Office of Information and Press in 1995. As the Head of the Distribution Unit, he gradually shifted the external communication from a traditional paper based dissemination to a fully electronic dissemination and more recently through social media.
From 2012 to 2015 he was Head of the Social Media Team. He has put NATO on the Social Media map and found innovative ways to raise awareness for NATO on social.
Kate Crouse - Brand manager, D Magazine
Kate Crouse is the Brand Manager at D Magazine Partners, Dallas’ city magazinepublisher. She oversees the brand, social, and promotional strategies for D Magazine and it’s sub-brands, D CEO, D Home, D Weddings, and DMagazine.com. Everything from the launch and success of D Magazine’s social accounts, to subscriber benefits, to management of cross-departmental projects like Best of Big D, are overseen by the Brand Manager.
Before taking up the mantle as Brand Manager, Kate worked as an Account Service Manager at D Magazine Partners’ in-house content marketing agency, D Custom, and prior to that worked as a sales executive at OGRE Systems, a Dallas-based petroleum engineering software firm. Kate received a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. She hails from Houston, but spent most of her childhood attending international schools in the United Kingdom, China, Venezuela, and Thailand.
Kelli Lewis - Marketing Director & Public Information Officer, City of Carrollton
Kelli Lewis, Marketing Director and Public Information Officer for the City of Carrollton, began working for the City in April, 2007. A lifelong resident of Carrollton and fourth generation Carrolltonian, Mrs. Lewis is a seasoned communicator and a recovering Ad agency executive that has worked in the caffeine-dependent world of marketing for 20 years in both the private sector and municipal government.
Ms. Lewis holds a Master of Arts Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with an emphasis in Business Marketing from the University of Texas at Dallas, a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Southern Methodist University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising from SMU’s Temerlin Advertising Institute for Education and Research. Professional affiliations include Government Social Media Organization, National City/County Government Communicators Association (3CMA); Texas Association of Municipal Information Officers (TAMIO); North Central Texas Council of Governments Regional Public Information Officers; as well as American Red Cross Ready When the Time Comes Shelter Management Trained and Credentialed, and a former National Government Communicators Association and American Advertising Federation member. A true Carrollton local, she was awarded Miss Carrollton Country Fair in 1997, served on the City of Carrollton Historic Preservation and Advisory Committee in 2004-2005, and is a 2006 Carrollton Government Academy Graduate.
She spends entirely too much time binge watching television, discussing Star Wars with her kids, and singing the praises of the Oxford comma. Lewis lives in Carrollton with her husband, two of the cutest children ever born, and her feisty, but aging Jack Russell Terrier.
Sharon McGrath - Managing Director Marketing & Communication, Virtuoso
Sharon is a professional marketer, writer, speaker, and dork for details. A fan of classic literature, theater, great wine, and intriguing people, she’s stamped her passport in Berlin, Buenos Aries, Hong Kong, and Madrid to name a few.
Sharon’s held corporate marketing positions for nearly 30 years spanning public and investor relations, advertising, customer relationship management, direct marketing, media buying, research, social media, and promotions with companies including American Airlines, La Quinta hotels, and Haggar Clothing. Since 2006, Sharon has held marketing leadership positions with Virtuoso, the travel network of the top luxury travel agencies and providers in the world. She leads global communications, creative, and social media teams, and is responsible for Virtuoso brand management marketing on both the B2B and B2C side.
Sharon lives in Flower Mound, Texas with her husband, Dan and their two daughters, Cory and Erin.
Jeff Amador - Director of Marketing and Business Development, PILF Restaurant Group
Jeff Amador joined Cane Rosso in late 2014, where he inherited the marketing & branding responsibilities previously created and maintained by Cane Rosso founder, Jay Jerrier. Not coming from a traditional marketing background, Jerrier hand-selected Jeff to carry on the unique brand voice that Jerrier himself developed, often in-between cooking pizzas in his 900 degree pizza oven at the original location of Cane Rosso, in Dallas' Deep Ellum neighborhood. Since joining the team, the number of Cane Rosso restaurants under the care of Jeff Amador has doubled from 4 in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, to 8 restaurants in 3 different cities throughout Texas. Amador also played an important connective role in Cane Rosso acquisition and expansion of Cow Tipping Creamery, an ice cream company founded in Austin, TX, now operating in downtown Carrollton and with a location in Frisco, TX currently under construction.
