College students always dread the freshman fifteen. And rightly so. They often think, “It won’t happen to me - I’ve been skinny my whole life." But... reality sets in.

Could it be the partying and getting late-night munchies, or the fact that fresh fruit in the dining hall seems way too expensive compared to the greasy stack of fries for 50 cents? It can be quite hard to avoid fattening foods and bad habits as we transition into life as a university student. Still, there are very simple and quick ways to avoid the freshman fifteen.  Keeping fit while you are a student goes a long way, even after graduation day.
