Eve Mayer Orsburn
Chief Executive Officer
Eve Mayer Orsburn is the CEO and owner of Social Media Delivered. She is a marketing guru and entrepreneur. She started selling lemonade at 3 years old, sold painted rocks (not sure why) at 4, launched her first company at 11 and her first corporation at 22.
Eve has worked for small, medium and large (Disney and IBM) companies. She has served at the VP level of several companies overseeing the sales and marketing both domestically and internationally. Her experience and success crosses numerous industries including music, radio, consulting, real estate, medical, hospitality, restaurant, technology, retail and more.
Eve launched Social Media Delivered to share her passion for translating the goals of individuals and organizations into a marketing strategy that makes their vision a reality. She is known as the LinkedIn Queen because of her ability to grow businesses through LinkedIn – the largest professional networking website to date.
Originally from Louisiana, Eve now splits her time between the two Social Media Delivered offices in Dallas,TX and Paris, France. Eve speaks on social media in person, on radio, and on webinars and serves clients from around the world. Eve’s hobbies are spending time with her family, traveling internationally, doing the check dance, and fostering her addiction to coffee.
Laura Hale
Chief Operating Officer
Laura is an accountant by training and a team builder by nature. She began her professional career by joining a public accounting firm in her junior year of college, but quickly realized her passion for running business operations and made the career change that eventually brought her to Social Media Delivered.
Following her public accounting career, Laura entered the fast-changing world of healthcare management. Her roles have been varied but never strayed far from business operations. These roles include physician practice administration, physician revenue cycle management, regulatory compliance and healthcare information systems implementation and consulting.
Laura developed a passion for the online community while pursuing her MBA. This degree program required online collaboration to complete the required coursework; it also opened the door to new experiences in information systems. Laura recently applied these experiences to assist a retail medical company in adapting CRM software to their business model. She will continue to leverage this passion as she helps to build Social Media Delivered into the social media giant it will soon be!
Mary Adams
Vice President of International
Mary has 15 years of professional international business experience and a proven track record as a VP-level manager and business development expert skilled at growing partnerships and clients across the world. Specialties include International business development, international networking, music, media, radio, marketing, sales, management, consultative selling, strategic alliances, sales training, negotiations, acquisitions, and mergers. She is fluent in French and speaks Spanish daily. In 2009 Mary completed a professional MBA in International Business with a specialization in Global Enterprise Management.
Ruth Ferguson
Social Media Manager
Reinventing and exploration – it says a lot about the possibilities with social media tools and it says a lot about Ruth Ferguson. From the moment she discovered the Internet and email in the mid-90s she was hooked on how she can use the tools and information to grow personally and professionally. Now Ruth has branched out to share her knowledge regarding the capabilities of Web 2.0 to assist clients of Social Media Delivered in growing their brand awareness in the marketplace.
Over the years Ruth has transitioned from a clerk to an executive assistant, legal assistant and newspaper editor. Information and preparation were the key ingredients to identifying and pursuing new challenges. She has brought the same zeal for learning to understanding the opportunities available through social media.
Ruth has a passion for exploring cutting edge social networking platforms, the latest tools and techniques to help organizations implement the right social media marketing strategy. She enjoys aiding in the launch and management of the client’s social media presence on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and other relevant Web 2.0 sites. The objective is to collaborate with the client to ensure the proper messaging is consistently executed online.
Amanda Montgomery
Social Media Specialist
Amanda is a proud alum from The University of Alabama’s Communications program, where she completed her bachelor’s degree in May 2009, with a concentration in Advertising, and a certification in Global Studies. Amanda is currently working on her Masters degree at the University of Texas Dallas focusing on Emerging Media and Communications. A Texan at heart, Amanda moved back to Dallas where she continues to be inspired by the local marketing community, and how social media platforms are changing the communications industry.
Angelo Benito Fernandez-Spadaro
Social Media Coordinator
Angelo, 23 was a long-time resident of Austin. He is very proud of the culture and heritage of his family who are from Spain, Italy and Venezuela. Angelo is a big sports fan, especially soccer which he’s played for all of his life.
Angelo has always had an interest in advertising, marketing and public relations and recently realized the future of those fields is the internet and mobile devices. He is currently studying Emerging Media and Communication at the University of Texas at Dallas and loving it. He hopes to use all of the social media skills he learns at school and during his time at SMD to shape the future of digital media and leave a lasting impression of his ideas and work.
Amelia R K Clark
Non-Profit Social Media Specialist
Amelia comes from a studio art and design background, and is a graduate of the University of Texas at Dallas Arts and Technology department. Amelia chose to pursue the technological aspect of visual production because she believes that an artist and their work are reflections of their place and time in the world. In the process, she has developed an interest in social media and the business aspects of these rapidly changing technologies. With experience in traditional studio art, digital design, web development, internet marketing, social media and content production, Amelia is in a unique position at the crossroads of traditional visual production and emergent communication methods. Her goal is to bring the perspective of her varied talents and fields of knowledge to the business of social media.
Justin began constructing websites in the late ’90s and started his professional career as a Web Developer for TeamBSE Web Design in 2001. Since then, he has built over two dozen websites for small to mid-sized companies and organizations. In 2007, Justin was promoted to Online Marketing Director of True Results, where he acheived 1st page rankings on Google, MSN, and Yahoo in less than a year managing paid and natural search.
Justin was also highly successful at increasing online leads and visits to the company website and social networking community, but excelled at search engine optimization (SEO). He continues to be a pioneer and leader in the online marketing community, with many of his peers considering him an expert at helping companies achieve their online goals with a combination of proven marketing tactics with innovative solutions for today’s digital world.
Tom Jackson
Social Marketing Consultant
Tom is a Technology and Telecom strategic business development veteran. Tom began his career as a engineer before transitioning to Sales and Marketing. Since then, Tom has held a number of business development, sales, strategic marketing and operation roles for four of the largest technology manufacturers in the world.
Tom has sold to Fortune 500 firms globally, small and medium businesses as well as a variety of vertical market segments. Tom leverages these backgrounds and skills to target social media technologies that drive social marketing strategies through his consulting company Sale Fish Marketing.
Del Wratten
Client Advocate – Las Vegas
Coming from the land Down Under, Del relocated to United States in mid 2008 and brought her great sense of humor and warmth to Las Vegas. (Not that Las Vegas needs any more warmth! Especially in August.) Having a diverse background in many areas such as software training, bookkeeping and Accounting, finance, real estate and small business administration, Del covers a vast array of businesses. Being self-employed since 2000, Del knows the challenges to marketing your own business, product and self-image and is very excited to be working in an innovative industry. Utilizing the tools of Social Media is something that everyone can take advantage especially when coupled with having the right support to achieve your desired results. This is a perfect fit for Del, helping and guiding her clients in the use of software and technology is something that she is very enthusiastic and passionate about.
Tony van Kessel
Client Advocate – Toronto, Canada
Early in Tony’s career he came to the realization that, at his core, he is two sides of the same coin: student and teacher. A life-long learner with boundless curiosity, he derives great satisfaction from sharing a good thing with others, both in his business and personal life.
An electronics technology college graduate specializing in information technology and data/voice networking, Tony brings over 20 years of sales and management leadership of high-growth venture-backed and public companies in a variety of emerging technology segments, including SynOptics, Bay Networks, Nortel, Viola Networks and Foundry Networks.
Tony’s business success stems from his natural tendency to focus on his customer’s customer, thereby creating a strong bond of partnership with his clients. A long-time LinkedIn evangelist to his friends and colleagues, he personally has many proof points as to the power and effectiveness of business and personal networking.
Tony continues to pursue an advanced degree in Applied Erudition, studying at the School of Real Life.
Robin Kruk

Robin has several years of experience in media advertising sales (online & print) for a variety of trade & consumer publications, domestic & international. She recognizes that online marketing is growing as publishing is fading, and the importance of global business is vital. So, Robin recently earned an Online Marketing Certification & Global Marketing Certificate. She has now combined her talents with her husband John, an IT Professional, to create Images 4 New Media, LLC, to offer Online Marketing Services including e-mail marketing, website design & social media planning. They particularly enjoy helping businesses to grow by providing them with customized marketing plans for today’s environment. John’s graphic design & photography skills also add another dimension to their business, including photo transformation & restoration services. Robin is very active in social media including Facebook, Twitter & Linkedin.
Gavin Head
Client Advocate – Waxhaw, NC
As evidenced by his background in ministry, Gavin has a natural desire to help and care for others and often applies the experiences learned from his early career to help him relate to and care for his clients. He has worked in industries as diverse as non-profits, banking, retail, food service, and consulting which gave him experience in numerous marketing disciplines from customer service and copy writing to marketing research and branding.
He pairs this broad experience with a strong educational foundation, having earned several post-baccalaureate certificates in business and marketing. This combination of skills and education served Gavin well as he migrated into sales and account management and continue to benefit him as owner of a small marketing firm.
Gavin also views his background as fertile training for the work he is now doing as a client advocate. And although he came late to the social media party, he has become a social networking junkie and devoted advocate for its use in small business branding and marketing. He is an avid user of social media to market his own firm and has performed social media services for several of his clients. He’s extremely excited about his ability to
draw on the expertise and resources of Social Media Delivered to help him deliver the results his clients deserve.
Bob Willems
Client Advocate – Belgium
After his studies at UFSIA (University of Antwerp) where he obtained his Master of Applied Economic Sciences he began his professional career working on several engagements abroad, gaining international experience (mainly in Europe).
After 25 years Bob has an extensive and successful career in marketing, sales, ICT and environmental technology. He couples this with a broad, senior management level expertise, in both the B2B and B2C aspects of approaching the market.
Bob has been active as a creative entrepreneur with the companies he worked: DMC Shipping and Forwarding, Consult & Service, Flanders Information Center and Envirotec. He has adopted the roles of Director of Encounters, Creative Entrepreneur and Social Media Speaker within these organizations. Bob is also acknowledged as an internationally renowned expert in virtual networking and experimental marketing.He is an experienced and confident individual whose method of approach is solid, thorough and profound. He has a clear and well established approach to public speaking and is easily approached. Bob is dedicated to establishing and maintaining a network of social and business contacts. He leads the way in Europe as one of the best on organization, analysis, efficiency, effectiveness, detail minded, energetic, perseverance and managerial skill. All this while maintaining dedication and happiness.
Melissa Kovacevic
Client Advocate – Charleston, South Carolina
Melissa was born into a family of entrepreneurs. Her grandparents and parents owned businesses near Allentown, PA where she was born. In the late 1970’s, Melissa accepted a position as a representative in the Telemarketing Call Center at DialAmerica Marketing in Atlanta and worked her way up to being a Supervisor. She eventually ran the Atlanta branch, winning awards for productivity, sales and collections activities together with her branch team. She was eventually recruited to start-up and manage a call center for PCA International.
In 1983, her “entrepreneur genes” kicked in and Melissa moved to Greenville, South Carolina, where she started her own Consulting and Training business, CommPlan Call Center Consulting. She relocated to Charleston, SC in 2003.
Since starting her business 27 years ago, Melissa has trained thousands of Call Center and Frontline Service representatives as well as Center Managers, and has helped business owners not only to improve their interactions with customers and prospects via phone, email and live chat, but also the resulting bottom line. Her consulting practice has grown to include regional and national headquarters of businesses throughout the southeast including banks, credit unions, insurance companies, manufacturers, retailers, utilities and hospitality companies.
Melissa sees social media as a natural step for Call Centers in order to develop customer loyalty and revenue in a highly evolving communication and technology world. As a Client Advocate with Social Media Delivered, she welcomes the opportunity to help her current and future clients add social media to their customer and prospect interaction mix.
Jamie Nanquil
Social Media Assistant
Jamie graduated from the Creative sequence of the University of Texas Advertising program in May of 2009, where she fused her interest of advertising with her passion for design. In following her heart for the arts, Jamie is currently taking graphic design and web design classes to build her skill. She has realized the progressiveness of social media communication and hopes to learn from as well as contribute to the team’s work. Jamie loves adventure – skydiving, jet skiing, mountain biking, and anything that results in an adrenaline rush. She knows that this internship will be an adventure of its own.
Alan Bernard Evans
Social Media Assistant
Alan Evans is a proud native of Mobile, Alabama. He is currently residing in Dallas, Texas where he works as a private piano instructor. He graduated from Jackson State University in May 2007 with a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance. Additionally, he pursued graduate study at Southern Methodist University and received a Master of Music in Music Education degree in May 2009.
In addition to being a music educator, Alan is also a concert pianist, professionally trained dancer, singer, and public relations/social media enthusiast. Although he did not pursue a formal education in business or communications, he feels that the intrinsic qualities developed as a result of serious music study would allow him to succeed and prosper in any career. As a Social Media Delivered intern, his goal is to gain more knowledge and experience that would allow him to become a “tour de force” in the worlds of Social Media and Public Relations.
Desiree Buckingham

Desiree Buckingham is an undergrad Senior at the University of Texas at Arlington, where she is studying public relations with a minor in history. She grew up traveling the world, thanks to the United States Marine Corps, but always knew she wanted to make Dallas her home. Desiree is very excited to learn everything this internship has to offer and apply what she has learned in the class room and in life.
Sawyer Reed

Sawyer Reed is an undergraduate at New Mexico State University and is earning a degree in Marketing and General Business. After spending fifteen years of his life in middle Tennessee, Sawyer’s family made the move to New Mexico where he realized a passion for the dry, hot weather and the snow on the mountains. Sawyer plans to pursue a career in advertising after graduation, although he has no set destination, as of yet.

Katherine Hodge is currently an undergraduate student at Southern Methodist University. She will be graduating in December 2010, with a degree in Advertising, where she is in the Method Creative Program, and a minor in studio art. She is an avid traveler, having been to many countries around the world, and will be studying abroad in India this summer for 6 weeks. She loves all things creative and is constantly trying to push the boundaries. She is a model and recently began pursuing acting, and believes that social media, is an important aspect of businesses now and will become greater in the future.

Award winning photographer Kris Hundt has been taking picture since she was 15. “I was drawn to photography because it allowed me to stop time and save memories. Photography and life are my passions. I live to capture the essence of a person in a single image.”
Kris’ specializes in environmental portraits for magazines. Business Week, Kiplinger’s, Texas Monthly, Family Circle and Elle Décor are a few of her notable clients. Lindsey Willinger

Lindsey Willinger is an undergraduate student at The University of North Texas studying marketing and business management. She plans on pursuing a Masters degree in marketing to better prepare for a position with a large brand hotel or corporation. Juan Lechuga was born in Chihuahua, Mexico and moved to the Dallas area when he was six. He is currently a senior at Southern Methodist University, earning degrees in both Cinema/Television and Psychology. With the media industry shifting more to online platforms, he has his eyes set on web video and the independent film industry after graduation, and enjoys learning about and utilizing the effects of social media in the entertainment industry.
Katy Mendelsohn

Katy Mendelsohn graduated from the University of Arkansas with a Masters in Education Technology and a BSBA in Marketing Management and Retail Marketing from the Sam W. College of Business. A sports enthusiast, she is a contributing writer for Scoreboard Monthly and ArkansasRazorbacks.com. Since January of 2009, she has served as the media coordinator for men’s and women’s tennis at the University of Arkansas media relations department. Through different social media outlets, the Razorback tennis team saw dramatic results and earned a top 10 ranking in the ITA Attendance Race. While at Arkansas, she also assisted with day-to-day media responsibilities for football, basketball and baseball. Her work at Arkansas led to special event experience, including 2010 NCAA Division I Indoor Track and Field Championships, 2009 NCAA Outdoor and Indoor Track Championships, Celebration of a Championship, Razorback Hall of Fame Banquet and the 2009 Arkansas -Texas A&M Southwest Classic held at Cowboy Stadium in Dallas.
A next generation leader and change agent, she is passionate about making a difference and building relationships throughout our community and the world. Katy looks forward to joining Social Media Delivered and helping the team lead the charge on the social media movement.
