I’m a blackberry user through and through.  My friends and coworkers with Iphones constantly remind me that they can find a song quicker, make dinner reservations faster, and tweet like there’s no tomorrow, all with the ease of fancy applications exclusively available to the mighty Iphone.  And until recently, they were right.  Team Iphone could do all those things, and more.  However, when I discovered ÜberTwitter for Blackberry…that changed. 
 
Why am I such a goober for the Über? The following is a quick review on why Team Blackberry is moving their way up and now able to tweet in a timely, and effective manner…
 
5 Awesome Aspects…that make ÜberTwitter a awesome application: 

Retweeting Isn’t Rough 
By choosing the ‘Retweet’ option on the menu function from the blackberry keyboard, reiterating the ideas or thoughts of your favorite followers can be done in no time.  
 
Tweeting to Email is trouble free 
Again- on the ‘menu’ function of the application, one simply needs to highlight a tweet they want to forward to their Inbox…in a second the online link is saved in the context of the tweet and in an email in your Inbox.   
 
Options can be optimized
-  ÜberTwitter prides itself on the fact that a user can customize the settings hassle free       
-   Don’t want your tweets to have a location, its optional
-  Want to refresh your feed every 5 minutes?  20 minutes? 1 minute? No problem.

All of these options from ÜberTwitter create an application that integrates seamlessly into your life, and of course makes tweeting second nature.  
 
Fabulous Photo/Video Capability
Unlike its compatriots (TinyTwitter, TwitterBerry etc.), ÜberTwitter is one of the first blackberry twitter applications that can stream and send not only photos but live video as well on the latest version- Beta 7.

Possibly the coolest feature on ÜberTwitter is that it has the capability to locate fellow Tweeters near and around you.  At a Tweetup or other networking event, finding a new connection on twitter takes seconds by using this function. 
 
On the whole ÜberTwitter is an excellent application with only a few shortcomings; one being that ÜberTwitter cannot be synched with your laptop/desktop operating system.  Another is there are smaller mobile ads featured on the main ‘feed screen.’  Errors aside, this application’s advantages and customization are ideal for the marketer/business executive on the go.  If tweeting is an integral part of your life style, ÜberTwitter is the application for you.
